Privacy Policy — HUDrift

This Privacy Policy explains how HUDrift ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

Account data: email address, display name, and Discord username when you create an account.
Tournament data: tournament names, schedules, participant Discord usernames, in-game usernames, available times, and check-in status.
Waitlist: email address only, used to notify you when the app launches.
Authentication metadata: Google account email and profile image if you sign in with Google.
Technical data: IP address and request metadata captured by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To operate accounts, tournaments, and Discord notifications you've opted into.
To send you the launch announcement if you joined the waitlist.
To prevent abuse and secure the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Hosting & database: Supabase (database, auth) and Lovable / Cloudflare (hosting). Data may be processed outside Australia.
Discord: if you link Discord, your Discord user ID and username are stored and we send DMs you've consented to receive.
Google: if you sign in with Google, basic profile info is shared by Google with us.
We do not share your information with advertisers.

Retention

We keep account and tournament data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below). Waitlist emails are retained until launch or until you ask to be removed.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Security

We use row-level security on our database, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and industry-standard authentication. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of any eligible data breach as required by law.
